DigesTip glu-C, 100 ul, 8 tips per pack

DigesTip glu-C is a micro-bioreactor shaped as a pipette tip with a filter containing immobilized endoproteinase Glu-C.  DigesTip glu-C exhibits great performance in terms of ease of use, digestion time and quality of results. It is both a powerful resource for endoproteinase Glu-C digestion and a first choice to highly improve the productivity of any Mass Spectrometry lab. DigesTip glu-C is compatible with the majority of 20 µl and 200 µl single-channel and multi-channel pipettors, including: Gilson, Biohit, Rainin, Eppendorf, Brand.

Digestion time: 2 minute
Spectrum obtained by digesting with DigesTip Glu-C, for exactly 2 minutes at room temperature, 3 µl of a solution of reduced and alkylated BSA at the concentration of 100 µg/ml. Digested sample was analysed by MALDI-TOF MS, obtaining 29 matched peptides and 51% of sequence coverage.

Spectrum obtained by digesting with DigesTip Glu-C, for exactly 3 minutes at room temperature, a three-protein mixture (Human Transferrin, BSA and ß-Casein from bovine milk), previously denatured and reduced for 10 minutes in 40 mM ammonium bicarbonate, pH 7.8 + 10% acetonitrile + 50 mM DTT, without the need to alkylate the sample before digestion. Digested samples were analysed by MALDI-TOF MS.
